“Labour” at £175 a day (tradesman) £100 (labourer), includes incidental fixings etc. and tipping. “Materials” if mentioned, are larger things (a boiler) and stuff only you can choose (tiles etc).  Also VAT must be added all round.

Information Sheet on Installing Fitting a Shower Pump

I’m going to be very specific and only relate to pump fitting here, the assumption being that you are replacing a defunct or inadequate one.
We also assume you have a pump because your shower isn’t of the “mains pressure” variety. Showers on mains pressure don’t usually need pumping as well!
Your plumber will tell you if you need a normal pump or a negative head one. Normal is where your water supply tank is higher than the shower head, negative head is where the shower is above the water tank, (Possibly in an attic conversion but the tank is on the floor, the shower head up in the air).

Negative head pumps cost about £125 more than normal ones.
Make sure you get the right shower pressure, so try and work out how much power you want. Power is measured in “bars”. “Bar” stands for barometric pressure. Barometric pressure is 14 pounds per square inch. Your kitchen sink cold water main pressure is probably about 2.5 bar. If that sort of power is ok for you then a cheaper pump will do.
